This unit is designed for the safe transfer of parts and equipment between two controlled environments of the same ISO class and similar risk level. A mechanical/electronic interlock prevents both doors opening at the same time, avoiding particle leakage and loss of positive pressure in the cleanrooms.
Body construction
Powder-coated outside, stainless steel inside
Steel outer body with scratch- and corrosion-resistant electrostatic powder coating, and a stainless steel 304 interior.
Technical specifications
- Safety: interlock that prevents both doors opening at once
- Accessories: internal lighting and a UV lamp (with timer and safety switch) to sterilise transfer surfaces
- Application: installed in the wall between cleanrooms of the same particle class and similar contamination risk
- Stainless-steel handles and hinges
- Argon-filled double glazing, with anti-UV glass available
